How credits work
Credits make expensive AI and automation work visible instead of mysterious. You can see what a run cost and what it produced, which is the only way to tell whether it was worth it.
- Credits meter the expensive work — planning, building, research, generation and scheduled runs. Reading your own artifacts does not consume them.
- Free credits reset daily at midnight UTC. They do not accumulate.
- Paid credits arrive as a monthly grant, including on annual plans.
- On annual plans, unused paid credits carry forward up to a maximum of one monthly grant. Anything above that expires.
- Credits are reserved before an action runs and settled after it completes. If a run fails, the reservation is released.
- Spending money — a domain purchase, for example — is always a separate confirmation with its own budget check.
